The black surface stands apart from a typical reflector kit by absorbing light rather than bouncing it, useful for reducing reflections or pulling down highlights rather than adding fill. Its storage bag doubles as an 18% grey exposure reference card, ProMaster’s “Plus” feature unique to its 5-in-1+ and 7-in-1+ kits.
