A consistently great sauce variety. This heirloom is technically a plum, but of the larger sort. Plump, elongated fruit with broad shoulders, and dense meaty flesh. The juicy texture makes a thin sauce–cook down for a thicker, super-sweet sauce. A great variety to slice in half, then roast, peel and add to soups, sauces or top a pizza with. One of our all-time favorites!
