The MID49 Power Distribution Box DB-8 (Gold Mount) mounts directly to the back of a Sony Burano and manages power between an onboard Anton Bauer battery and an AC-fed DC input, keeping the camera and accessories powered through a battery swap. Its SMART FUSE system automatically budgets remaining power to accessories based on the camera’s own draw.
SMART FUSE Power Allocation: Monitors the Burano’s roughly 2.8A draw at 14V and allocates the remaining capacity of a connected battery to accessories, cutting accessory power (with an LED warning and reset button) if the budget is exceeded.
Gold Mount with Anton Bauer Communication: Battery plate communicates battery data to the camera for on-monitor percentage readouts.
Hot-Swap Battery/DC Input: Switches between the onboard battery and a 4-pin XLR DC input without dropping power; DC input takes priority down to 12.5V.
Removable LANC Cable: Enables remote start/stop of the camera through 3-pin Fischer devices.
