MID49’s Audio Breakout AB-9 converts a Blackmagic PYXIS’s front mini XLR and rear 3.5mm TRS inputs into two standard full-size XLRs, with the front input supporting phantom power through the camera’s own menu for condenser microphones. The rear 3.5mm-derived input stays unbalanced with no phantom power, so the two channels aren’t identical, just like the camera’s native ports. It mounts via a captive 1/4-20 screw to the camera body or an optional PYXIS side plate.
